JOB DESCRISPTION :
The Administrative Assistant will be responsible to provide administrative assistance on underwriting and to assist the broker.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Request quotations for clients and closing thereof
- Follow up on underwriting
- Prepare new business quotes
- Issuing new policies, renewals, and endorsements
- Negotiating renewal terms and preparing the renewal documentation
- Recording details and information on the relevant systems
- Provide administrative support
SKILL SETS REQUIRED :
- Grade 12
- NQF Level 4 in Short-Term Insurance
- Successfully completed the RE Examination Level 1
- Computer literate (MS Outlook, Excel, and Word)
- A minimum of 2 years´ relevant working experience essential in underwriting on both personal and commercial lines within the short-term industry
- Good verbal and written communication skills in Afrikaans & English
- Good administration, organisation, and planning skills
- Good multi-tasking and time management skills
- Highly reliable, adaptable, and resilient
- Team player , with strong personality
- Client service driven
- Interpersonal skill
